Hi everyone!

I want to thank Mr. Doug and Ms. Theresa for the big bag of beanie babies to use at my event! And for the Tim Hortons bear!

Miss Jessica is going to be doing chair massages at the event! Mommy says people really like those.

I talked to the news reporter from the Tribune about the event. The paper comes out Wendsday.

With Thanksgiving almost here- what are you Thankful for?

I am thankful for my house, my pets, my brother, my Mom and Dad, Grandma and Pappa, my cousins my Aunts and Uncles and thankful to be me.

We talked about strong words today in school, I am greatful to be me. I am also greatful for icecream. 😃 I am greatful to have toys because some kids don't have any. I am greatful to have food and water because some people don't have that.

What are you greatful for?

What is in a name

Hi everyone! Not too much new to tell. My mommy and me talked to Master Wood about the karate demonstration and he said he would talk to the class!

Mrs. O'Bryan said that the second grade team would support my project and she thought it was a great idea.

My chiropractor said that she would give us a gift certificate for the raffle.

How did I choose my name? My Mommy said Kyle's Hope. I said no I wanted a manly name. So Guarding Warriors. Mommy asked what it meant to me. Guarding is like guardian Angels, like my Great Grandma and Great Grandpa. They keep me safe and help me. I want to help people. Warriors are strong, fighters, and the good guys. I want to be strong and be one of the good guys. Besides it sounds cool and manly too.

Thank you everyone for your help and keep telling people!

Addition from Mom- December 1. We will have a donation bin at Niagaras choice federal credit union on Sawyer drive! We also have a donation bin already at Christ the King Prep academy. Thank you Miss Maria Miss Ann and Niagaras Choice!

Hi Everyone! Still have a stomach ache but wanted to tell you that Mommy got the Wheatfield Community Center for our event.  We will be having the donation event on December 21st from 5pm- 7pm.  Admission for the event is to bring a donation for the cornerstone Manor or the Disabled Veterans.  Our idea is to have carnival games like bowling, ring toss, marshmallow run, can toss and having crafts and a Chinese auction for the adults.  We are going to have food like pizza, popcorn, juice boxes, pop and water and desserts like ice cream cups, brownies, and if your interested in baking desserts or bringing food please let us know.

I want to ask Master Wood my karate instructor if we can do a karate demonstration.

If your interested in volunteering to help with one of the games or helping with food, please let us know.  Either in the comments section or email my Mommy at [email protected].

Thank you everyone!

Updates from Mom

Hi Everyone! This is Kyle's Mom, Kyle is feeling a little under the weather today so he is in bed early tonight.  I wanted to give you all some updates.  I spoke with Bob Cliffe our Town Supervisor who referred me to the individual who does scheduling for the community center since the youth center schedule is very full.  He also said to keep him updated on the date so that he can contact the Tribune about the event that Kyle wants to plan.  Kyle has made a list of ideas for the event.  He wants to go with a carnival type theme.  While offering Pizza and popcorn and drink.  We will be seeking volunteers as soon as we get the date set.  More to come :). We are also waiting for a response from Errick Road school about making his project a school wide collection.

How did this all get started? Well Kyle and I were on our way to an appointment and he was reading his children's Bible.  He was asking all kinds of questions and we got into a philosophical conversation.  Then the big question came.  If I pray really really hard, would God grant world peace? After trying to stay composed I said I do not think he would just grant world peace even if you prayed really hard, but, I do believe he would give you the strength to do something about it.  He then said, like Madison from Madison Gives? Madison is an 11 year old girl who does amazing things for this community and Kyle learned about her for my work.  So that s when he said he wanted to do something to help people.   So here we are today.  Kyle has great ideas and a huge heart!  My husband and I are so very proud of him.  We hope that you can stay along for the ride because it is sure to be

Hi everyone!

My first guarding warrior is my brother Zach. He is 4 years old and loves to help.

Mommy and I talked today about having a big party and admission would be a donation. We are waiting to hear back from the Wheatfield Youth Center about renting the gym. Stay tuned.

We also looked at the paper and saw that the Disabled Veterans are looking for toy donations for all the veterans they help. We are going to help them too.

We are looking for businesses who are able to put donation boxes at their work. Please email [email protected]

We are also in need of donation barrels. If someone knows where we can get some, please let us know.

I also wanted to say thank you for all the support and cool comments!

Hi everyone! My name is Kyle, I am 7 years old and this year I decided I wanted to help people. After talking to my Mom and Dad we decided that helping the kids at the Cornerstone Manor through the Buffalo City Mission would be a great start. We are going to be collecting coloring books, single serving snacks, and character towels and washcloths for boys and girls! More info for collection will be coming soon. My Mom will be helping me post in my blog to make sure it's readable and makes sense. Thank you for all your help!
